As with anything you want to sell, if you don’t get people to look at it, there is no way they will buy. My review of WP Affiliate Pro is going to be pretty basic. Does it work.

In the Internet today, the way people are viewing ads and banners has changed. There is not the random clicking everywhere. I guess you could compare it to commercials on TV, people see them, but it doesn’t really register anymore.

So, you need to change things up, and give your potential buyers as many options as possible. This is where WP Affiliate Pro comes in.

The one thing I really liked about WP Affiliate Pro, was they don’t hype how much money they are going to make you. Here is a quote from their sales page:

“Let us be totally honest, this ISN’T ‘the next best thing that is going to make you thousands online’, but it IS going to increase your affiliate sales from your sites, and we’ll guarantee it.”

I have to say I was drawn to them just by this one statement. No huge claims, just a basic statement You will get more clicks, and you will get more sales because of it.

Now, is this claim true?

After using WP Affiliate Pro for two weeks, yes it is true, my clicks have increased drastically – by almost 80%, so their statement is correct you will get more people looking at your sales pages, and with more people your chances of more sales increases. Mine haven’t yet, but the percentages are showing that it will come.

Several other things I like about this product.

1) When they say it takes five minutes. It does take five minutes. I had my first set of keywords set up and working within minutes of downloading the software.

2) All of your individual keywords are tracked within the software, so you can see which ones work, and which ones don’t.

3) Adding or changing key words is very simple. I usually create more problems for myself when I have to program something. But, with WP Affiliate Pro, even a disaster (like myself), at technical stuff can do it.

4) You can limit how many keywords per page and per article are shown. Instead of each word or phrase showing up, you determine how often.

The only thing I have found that I’m trying to change and can’t is where the keywords are linked in the article or blog post. WP Affiliate Pro puts them from the top down, and I would like to have at least one or two at the end of an article, but I haven’t found a way to do this.

Which leads to the next concern of mine. In every email they have sent me they state if I have questions or concerns to contact them and they will get right back to me. I asked them about placement, and have yet to hear back from them, after one week.

This all being said, what do I think of WP affiliate Pro?

I like it a lot! It is easy and you do get the results they claim. The price is $97, but considering the potential sales, it is well worth it. It saves you a huge amount of time, it creates unlimited keyword links of your choosing, and it does produce more views of your sales page.

The program I chose to test is Article Video Robot. I will be honest, I didn’t discover this service, it was recommended to me by one of my mentors, so I thought I would give it a try.

After using this service for two months, I finally felt confident in giving an honest review of the pros and cons of Article Video Robot.

PROS:

1) Extremely easy to create a video.

There are two methods to creating a video. The first is to upload one of your articles from article directories, such as Ezine Articles. You simply put in the link of your article and click. Voila you have a video created.

The second method is to paste your article, and then follow through the steps to create your video.

The first method takes about three minutes and the second takes about ten minutes. And don’t worry if you aren’t sure what to do, they have an excellent video tutorial series to assist you.

2) Adding your personal touch is Simple.

Having your own pictures is as simple as uploading them from your computer and imbedding them where you want. If you don’t have a picture, Article Video Robot has a decent amount of stock pictures to choose from.

Although I have not used this feature. You can use your voice for your video (and after watching the tutorial it is as simple as speaking into a microphone – no extra software is needed). Or, you can choose between several different voices from their system.

With each voice over you can change the speed, intonation, and emphasis that they speak.

3) Distribution is as easy as a click. Once your video is made you can distribute it to 17 different sites and numerous social sites. Not only can you distribute easily, but you also have the option of making each title and description unique, giving you more keywords for the same video.

4) Technical support is incredible. I ran into a problem with uploading the video blog (Article Reel) to my own site. After raising a support ticket, I had my answer within 12 hours, and complete follow up support until I was satisfied. Let me clarify that the follow-up support was needed because of a mistake I was making, but Tech Support was fantastic with simplifying the steps so even a none tech like myself could understand it.

CONS:

1) When you use the option to upload an article from an article directory, it doesn’t always format correctly. This has happened to me twice, and it is very tedious to correct.

Although the instant upload is nice, I have found I just copy and paste, saving me the frustration of an article that didn’t load properly.

2) Some of the voices are very tinny sounding. They sound just what they are computer generated. I have it narrowed down to three voice, one female and two males. I also listen to each section, because there are some words that are jumbled, and hard to understand. In most cases you can correct this by slowing the voice down or em phasing the word. But in a few cases, I couldn’t get the word to sound correct.

3) Setting up the distribution is very time consuming if you were like me and don’t have the accounts already. You have to visit each site and register. The first time I went to distribute it took me over two hours to get registered.

Overall, I am very pleased with my experience at Article Video Robot. It is very easy to create a video and distribute it, and once you realize the drawbacks of editing, you can avoid them without compromising your video quality.

And the best part is after two months of using the service, approximately 35% of my traffic is now coming from my videos and growing everyday.
